Expanding business chances in the continually growing Vietnam
In 2012, we formed a partnership with Keppel Land (Singapore), one of the leading real estate companies in Asia, and other local corporations to participate in the Saigon Centre project, a plan to develop a large complex located in the center of Ho Chin Minh city. We applied the know-how learned in the project of Singapore Takashimaya SC and, in 2016, as part of the same project, we opened a shopping center around the core of the first Japanese department store in the city, Ho Chi Minh Takashimaya.

The Saigon Centre is a massive complex that spans 42 floors and covers approximately 200,000 ㎡, comprising not only Ho Chi Minh Takashimaya but also 150 other specialist stores, alongside offices, a hotel, and service apartments. Since opening in 2016, it has received wide support centered in local residents, and has gone on to become beloved as one of the facilities representative of the center of Ho Chi Minh. We are currently in negotiations locally in Vietnam to progress to the next stage of the development plan, phase 3.
