Domestic

Centered on the shopping center (SC) business, we proceed with development that values local nature, history, and culture. Furthermore, taking onboard changes in lifestyle, we are working everyday to enhance the appeal of our facilities, seeking to establish regional community bases that are visited for a diverse range of purposes beyond simply shopping and dining.

Area Development

Our corporate identity is defined by our location creation-based area development in the two regions of Futakotamagawa and Nagareyama. By accurately assessing the potential of these regions and developing core commercial facilities, we created in influx of people in the region; this was complemented by facilities management conducted from the perspective of the customer, as we took the time required to bring further vibrancy to the region.

Facilities

We currently have five core department store SC facilities domestically in Japan. These are located in Futakotamagawa, Kawashi, Shinjuku, and Nihombashi; the fifth, Kyoto Takashimaya SC, opened in October 2023 in Shijo-Kawaramachi, Kyoto. In these and all of our other facilities, we take advantage of the retail knowhow of the Takashimaya Group and their excellent customer base to develop business that meets with the unique characteristics of each region.
