Star Lake Project (Hanoi)

Within a large-scale township development, advancing our first overseas example of location creation-based area development

Based on our presence in Vietnam, as achieved through our Saigon Centre project, from 2019 we have been participating in a large-scale township development in the capital of Hanoi, called the Star Lake Project. The development is located approximately 6 km northwest of the Hanoi city center, in an area on the west side of West Lake (Hồ Tây). The site features convenient access to the city center and airport, and there are also plans for the creation of an urban railroad.

We wish to conduct the same ""location creation-based area development"" in Vietnam as we implemented in Futakotamagawa and Nagareyama, and we are advancing with development of school real estate and complex facilities in the planned township.

  • Plan A: School real estate

    In 2021, in collaboration with the local company Edufit, we opened "The Dewey Schools Tay Ho Tay," a high-quality educational facility aimed at the local affluent population. Continuing this alliance, we are promoting the expansion of multiple educational facilities, a growing industry, within Vietnam.

  • Plan B: Development of complex facilities

    We are promoting the development of a mixed-use facility consisting of commercial and office spaces as our core business in the capital city of Hanoi. By dividing the project into two phases, we plan a step-by-step development that matches the maturity of the city. The first phase of the commercial facility aims to serve as a platform for consumption, experiences, information dissemination, and interaction by maximizing the use of the "Takashimaya brand" and attracting distinctive content.
